Google Expeditions is an immersive education app that allows teachers and students to explore the world through over 900 virtual reality (VR) tours. You can swim with sharks, navigate outer space, and more without leaving the classroom!
Google Expeditions Kits have everything you need to bring VR to your school. The 30 Student Pack includes 30 VR Headsets and student devices, a router, 3 rolling cases, tablet, and charging stations. This is an all-in-one solution in terms of both software and hardware for Google Expeditions and VR lessons in the classroom.
The Google Expeditions mobile application will no longer be supported as of June 2021. You may submit a quote or contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about potential mobile application alternatives.
Introduce your students to a new way of learning with virtual reality. Built for the classroom and small group use, Google Expeditions allows a teacher to act as a “guide” and lead classroom-sized groups of “explorers” through collections of 360° scenes and 3D objects, while pointing out interesting sites and artifacts along the way. With VR, teachers and students are no longer limited by the space of the classroom.
Inspire students' creativity and imagination by selecting one of the 900+ VR adventures for the classroom. Expeditions explore history, science, the arts, and the natural world. Whether you’re roaming with dinosaurs or taking a look at Renaissance sculptures, there’s something amazing to explore for every subject. And, by helping your students visualize content in a new way, you can positively impact their ability to retain information.
Teachers and students can even create their own virtual adventures via the Tour Creator using 360 or 180 photos or images from Google Street View right from your browser.
Google Expeditions app is preloaded on teacher device, student devices and is configured to the ASUS router. All necessary accessories are included in the kit.
