Rechargeable Battery:
With over 60 minutes of continuous driving time, students can now engage in extended learning experiences without any worry of running out of power (or the hassle of changing the batteries mid-lesson). The inclusion of an internal rechargeable battery really enhances convenience, promoting uninterrupted learning in the classroom, and can help the planet. Its internal rechargeable battery is also replaceable, so the Edison V3 doesn't become e-waste after its battery reaches the end of its life.
USB Programming:
The Edison V3 connects directly to computers via USB ports, simplifying the setup process and ensuring a more stable connection to make programming a seamless experience for beginners and experienced users. The USB cable is always ready to go. It's also attached and tucks away neatly.
Charging Options:
The Edison V3 Robot can be charged from any USB-A powered source. For the ultimate classroom charging solution, this new EdCharger allows for the simultaneous charging of as many as five Edison Robots, streamlining your classroom experience even further.

The Edison V3 is 100 percent programmable and it comes with free software for use on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android devices—and it’s tough enough to be run over by a car! The Edison can also detect obstacles with infrared technology, communicate with other Edisons with infrared light, and move in any direction thanks to a differential drive system. It even features left and right LED lights, motors with varying speeds, a sound sensor, and three control buttons that enable it to respond to clapping, follow a flashlight, and be controlled by a remote, among much more!
