The Renewable Energy Box provides students with a complete understanding of how fuel cell technology can interact with renewable energy sources to create an entirely sustainable power grid. They will get to explore solar power, wind energy, kinetic energy from a hand crank, and a demonstration of the incredible storage potential of a super capacitor.
There’s also a range of fuel cells for them to compare: a PEM hydrogen fuel cell, the salt water fuel cell and a direct ethanol fuel cell. With countless experiments, there are so many scientific principles at work and plenty of space for creativity.
You'll need a source of hydrogen like the Hydrofill Pro to charge up the supplied Hydrostik Pro cartridge with hydrogen.
