Account Manager

Description

Eduporium is an EdTech eCommerce company in Newton Massachusetts on the Charles River. Our mission is to enhance the meaningful use of STEM Educational Technology in education, by expanding access to vetted product offerings to enhance learning and help students develop crucial 21st-century skills.

Eduporium’s Account Manager will be responsible for building relationships and driving sales in K-12 Schools, School Districts, Colleges, and After-School organizations in an assigned Sales Region in the US.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build and establish relationships with K-12 schools, School Districts, Colleges, and After-School Organizations with the objective of adding Eduporium as an approved vendor and closing sales opportunities.
  • Exceed Order and Gross Margin Yearly Quotas by selling Eduporium Products & Services
  • Provide a weekly forecast and summary of business development activities, including updating CRM system with all sales opportunities in your pipeline.
  • Create and Execute Strategy Sales Growth Plan for your Region and provide guidance on a Field Marketing Plan
  • Attend & Contribute to Weekly Sales & Company Meetings
  • Demonstrate knowledge of educational technology and how it could be integrated into the curriculum
  • Focus on exceeding customer’s expectations and success, leading to repeat customers
  • Represent Eduporium at STEM or Education conferences, trade shows, and expos

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of Information Technology or Education sales experience or similar sales experience
  • Preference given to candidates with Sales experience in the Education Market
  • Previous experience in business development; cold calling and leveraging email & social media campaigns to drive new business
  • Willingness to learn STEM educational and instructional technology
  • Comfortable working with a cross-functional team
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills including communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to take directions and work independently
  • Flexible and willing to help out in other areas, when required

Powered by a team of educators, STEM advocates, and business professionals, we’re looking for a Customer Success Associate to join and support our Sales & Operations Team as we continue to grow and scale. This is an entry-level, full-time (9 – 5 pm ET), office position. 

 

THE OPPORTUNITY

Eduporium is seeking a highly organized and motivated Customer Success Associate who enjoys and excels at communicating with customers and providing an exceptional experience for them. As the voice of the customer, the Customer Success Associate will be an extension of our sales, marketing, and operations teams with a clear understanding of customer challenges and our products and services. They will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving customer relationships and for promoting customer retention and loyalty. As the first point of contact for customers seeking general support with Eduporium solutions, the Customer Success Associate’s engagement with the customer will be essential to the growth and success of the organization.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create an exceptional and delightful experience for customers while resolving inquiries and concerns through phone, email, and online chat
  • Engage with the customer to clearly identify their needs and provide empathetic, efficient, and effective support
  • Work quickly and efficiently through day-to-day customer operations tasks, such as placing orders, creating quotes, remedying order or service issues, processing returns, and answering customer questions via phone
  • Become an expert on Eduporium’s products and services
  • Work closely with our Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to share relevant information, identify potential issues, and jointly resolve those issues
  • Enhance the reputation of Eduporium, improving the likelihood of referral of our services to others
  • Draw and report on insights from customer interactions and consistently seek ways to improve the customer experience by critically thinking and implementing customer feedback
  • Special cross-team projects could include drafting communications content for customers, developing curriculum, and improving the customer UX/UI experience

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer facing role
  • Passion for connecting with customers, creating lasting positive experiences with each customer interaction, and supporting teachers with educational technology

Powered by a team of educators, STEM advocates, and business professionals, we’re looking for an IT and Development Associate to support our Operations Team as we continue to grow and scale. This is a full-time (9-5pm, M-F) position based in Newton, Massachusetts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and configure Magento eCommerce website
  • Code of the Magento templates
  • Develop Magento modules in PHP using best practices
  • Design themes and interfaces
  • Set performance tasks and goals
  • Troubleshoot integration issues
  • Update website features and security patches
  • Server and office IT Maintenance

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Advanced knowledge of Magento, JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, MySQL and Python
  • Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development is plus

Powered by a team of educators, STEM advocates, and business professionals, we’re looking for a Social Media and Content Associate to join and drive social media channels and content as we grow and scale. This is an entry-level, full-time (9-5 pm ET) position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage email and Blog campaigns including writing, designing, posting and measuring results
  • Manage Eduporium’s existing social media channels including post conceptualization and design, post frequency and reporting, and customer engagement (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter)
  • Research SEO best practices and Google algorithm updates to define and align our SEO strategy
  • Create a focused backlinking strategy and execution plan in order to obtain high-quality backlinks from high-domain authority sites.
  • Help write presenter and exhibitor proposals for events, conferences, and other promotional purposes
  • Write and update content for product pages, online ads, landing pages, brochures, and other marketing materials
  • Creating and planning a content calendar

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree with major or minor in marketing preferred
  • Proficiency with digital marketing and social media strategy
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in social media and content creation
  • Savvy and knowledgeable of new social media trends/innovation
  • Drive and initiative to prioritize workload and self-manage time effectively
