 OPEARTIONS ASSOCIATE

The Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting the Operations team. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • - Handle a large volume of email and phone communications on behalf of Eduporium
  • - Work with highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • - Manage complex product categories, as well as our on-site and online inventory.
  • - Handle multiple tasks as they arise, switching priorities and focus as needed.
  • - Create quote and purchase orders, fulfill orders, and process invoices and checks.
  • - Contribute beyond the core operational role by taking on and completing small tasks and large projects that are part of the company’s mission.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • - Bachelor’s degree
  • - Must have a startup mentality and high level of attention to detail.
  • - Extremely organized - you will be able to easily coordinate and maintain your own work life
  • - 0 - 2 years of professional experience, preferably in a similar position.
  • - Outstanding written and spoken communication skills.
  • - Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, i.e., you can get things done without creating problems.
  • - Self-motivation and drive to deliver with minimal direction. 
  • - Ability to maintain utmost discretion and confidentiality.

ACCOUNT MANAGER

The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with K-12 Schools, Districts and Collaborative Organizations in the Northeast.  
 
 

Responsibilities:

  • - Build and establish relationships with K-12 schools, Districts, and Regional Collaborative Organizations with objective of adding Eduporium as an approved vendor and closing deals.
  • - Exceed Yearly Revenue and Gross Margin Quotas by selling Eduporium Products & Services into K-12 & Education Market
  • - Provide Sales Management a weekly forecast and summary of business development activities, including updating CRM system (ex. Salesforce).
  • - Attend & Contribute to Weekly and Monthly Sales & Company Meetings
  • - Create a Territory Sales Plan for your territory and provide guidance and feedback on a Field Marketing Plan
  • - Demonstrate knowledge of educational technology and how it could be integrated into the curriculum.
  • - Represent the company at conferences, trade shows and expos

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • - Bachelor’s degree
  • - 2+ years of information technology sales experience with an OEM (ex. HP, Lenovo), IT Solution Provider or Value Added Reseller (ex. CDW, PC Connections) or similar experience.
  • - Preference given to candidates with State, Local, and Education experience
  • - Previous business development skills, extensive experience with cold calling, email campaigns, trade shows and other sales development skills
  • - Willingness to learn
  • - Understanding of educational and instructional technology integration
  • - Comfortable working with a team approach
  • - Excellent communication, public speaking and presentation skills
  • - Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to take directions and work independently

MANAGING EDITOR

The Managing Editor will assist the Marketing and Communications director at Eduporium in our effort to create an authentic connection with our target markets through advertising, social media, and other communications material. We are seeking a passionate person with interest in communications, and writing who can facilitate and expand Eduporium’s presence and be the “voice” of Eduporium.

 

Responsibilities:

  • - Collaborate with other creative team members to develop Eduporium marketing concepts and copy for audiences, across traditional and interactive media, including: marketing collateral; print advertising; promotions; product catalogs; video; landing pages; newsletters; and email marketing campaigns.
  • - Understand target audiences to create the appropriate style, tone, and voice; ensure all communications are strategically on-brand.
  • - Translate complex technical information into practical marketing language for the appropriate target audiences.
  • - Analyze our content and partner with our contributors to help them make better content decisions.
  • - Monitor and engage with our online contributors, and check on daily site traffic to make sure we are successful.
  • - Help craft our strategy to grow across new and emerging channels while managing the publication process from research to writing to final editing and proofreading.
  • - Participate in brainstorming sessions that produce fresh and new ideas for the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • - Bachelor’s degree
  • - 1-3 years editorial, communications and/or content marketing experience
  • - Experience with branding, creative concept development, and marketing copywriting across traditional and interactive media
  • - Knowledge of marketing principles, theory, and practice
  • - Excellent conceptual and storytelling skills
  • - Ability to work and communicate effectively with our writers, art team, executive team, and sales teams
  • - Ability to analyze data to identify content that performs the best for different audiences and on different networks
  • - Demonstrated ability to take directions and work independently

The goal of the Innovative Technology Integrator is to enhance learning through improved integration of technology.

 

Responsibilities:

  • - Demonstrate knowledge of educational technology and integration into the curriculum.
  • - Compose effective technology-infused content based lessons and projects
  • - Write product reviews to be posted on the company’s blog
  • - Run workshops and product demonstrations
  • - Represent the company at conferences, trade shows and expos
  • - Demonstrate understanding of innovative technology use.
  • - Research and suggest new products to add to the company’s store
  • - Assist with marketing and sales effort

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • - Bachelor’s degree
  • - 1-3 years of technology related experience
  • - Strong understanding of educational and instructional technology integration
  • - Ability to work and communicate effectively with our writers, art team, executive team, and sales teams
  • - Excellent communication, public speaking and presentation skills
