BrickPi Core
The BrickPi Core helps students do more with robotics and LEGO MINDSTORMS by connecting LEGO sensors and motors onto the Raspberry Pi. This kit includes one BrickPi board for connecting to MINDSTORMS, an upgraded, 6-sided acrylic case to attach some LEGO technic bricks, and its rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The Raspberry Pi is sold separately and LEGO parts are not included.

The BrickPi Core kit is best for kids who already have LEGO MINDSTORMS sensors and motors. The BrickPi connects to the Raspberry Pi and replaces the MINDSTORMS Brick (the brain of the system). - Power supply is recommended so you don’t drain the battery while programming
- Tiny (jewelry-sized) Phillips head screwdriver is recommended for assembly of the case
- microSD Card with Dexter Industries Raspbian for Robots, which you have to download and install yourself
