Edison EdComm 3100 Cable 10 Pack (Edison V1 and V2 ONLY)

What is the EdComm cable?

• The EdComm cable is the special cable used to download programs to Edison V2 Robots from any of the Edison robotics programming platforms. An EdComm cable allows you to connect Edison V2 Robots to computers or tablets.
• To connect your Edison to a computer or tablet, plug the audio jack end of the EdComm cable into the headphone socket on your programming device. The other end of the EdComm cable connects to the underside of your Edison V2 Robot, near the power switch. 
• Setting up the EdComm cable is as simple as attaching the cable to an Edison V2 Robot and programming device. Your EdComm cable does not require any driver software to be installed and it is compatible with any device that has a headphone jack. This allows children to program the Edison from devices that don’t have USB ports, such as iPads.

Please note that all Edison V2 Robots are shipped with a standard EdComm cable located in the robot's battery compartment. The EdComm 3100 10 pack is designed to replace lost or damaged cables.
