The Cubelets robot blocks help make it easy for builders of nearly any age to imagine, craft, and invent countless robot constructions. Cubelets are little blocks of software inside little blocks of hardware. Each Cubelet has a special function, so how you assemble your robot changes its behavior. Every combination is a new creation. 

They help make the principles of programming easy for students to learn and practice. Cubelets’ special combination of software and hardware means that, as you build a robot, you build a program. It’s hands-on coding! 

Each Cubelet has a special function and belongs to one of three categories: SENSE Cubelets take in information from the robot’s environment. THINK Cubelets compute and change that information. And, ACT Cubelets turn that information into a physical action. Cubelets’ magnetic faces make them easy for students to snap together and pull apart. Connecting at least one SENSE, THINK, and ACT block allows them to create a robot construction. 

The Cubelets app is your portal to the software blocks inside each Cubelet. The remote control allows students to manipulate individual Cubelets blocks and change the behavior of an entire robot construction. Students can easily switch and swap the software blocks inside their Cubelets, use Personality Swap to change a Cubelet’s code with the touch of a button, switch a Drive Cubelet to spin backwards, or turn a Flashlight Cubelet into a disco-blinking wonder, allowing them to reinvent their robot play.

The Motivated Makers Pack is designed to support an entire class or multiple student groups. It helps educators facilitate basic robot building, enhanced learning, and play when paired with the free Cubelets apps. Students can explore programming principles with tactile coding and screen-free robot challenges of all difficulty ratings.

It's easy for teachers to scale these components for older and more experienced students. They can build with the high-level THINK Cubelets to develop computer science skills, analyze robot constructions, and visualize data flow with the Bar Graph.

Cubelets Print and Fold Activity Cards are an out-of-the-box classroom tool for teachers. They can use them with students of any skill level. The cards are designed to be set out for students in small groups to help guide learning in a student-driven environment.
