Get to Know:

• ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is one of your most commonly used plastics in injection molding. It is found within many everyday products such as LEGOs, computer keys, power-tool housings, and automotive parts. The MakerBot ABS is made without modifiers to best match performance characteristics of injection molded ABS.
• SR-30 is a proprietary soluble support material that was developed by engineers from Stratasys to work seamlessly with ABS and other high temperature materials. SR-30 requires a specialized Ecoworks solution along with heat and agitation for best dissolution results.
