If you've never heard TeacherCast, now's a good time to start. As the summer's winding down (we're sorry), it's time for teachers to start getting ready for the new school year. There may be struggles. There may be kicking and screaming. And, there may be some overwhelmed feelings when it comes to procuring the best tech tools for students and doing it at a reasonable cost.

That's where the fine folks at Eduporium (us) come in and we took to a medium that's fairly new to us to help get our message out. We have a number of ways to make EdTech education, acquisition, and implementation super easy for teachers in all grade levels and it was a great opportunity to be featured on TeacherCast. We also appreciate Jeff's commitment to helping educators start their own student podcasts

Need some entertainment while you're setting up your classroom? We've got the perfect idea for you. Eduporium founder and CEO, Rick Fredkin, recently appeared on the TeacherCast podcast hosted by well-known educator and speaker, Jeff Bradbury. They discussed why we're the perfect one-stop shop for teachers looking for new EdTech, STEM, and makerspace products, how we add unique consulting and services, and why our Educator Discount program is a must-join for teachers!

To listen to the episode, click below or download it in your Podcasts app by searching for TeacherCast or Eduporium (it's titled 'Eduporium: A Simple Marketplace for Educational STEM and Makerspaces from Aug. 21).

Around the same time the podcast came out, we were exhibiting at the Rochester Tech Camp in upstate New York. We took part in the two-day event on Monday and Tuesday and even caught a glimpse of the partial eclipse with everyone in the crowd! Inside, we welcomed tons of attendees to our table at this free event and showed them why we think technology belongs in the classroom.

The librarians in attendance had the chance to attend exciting sessions each of the two days and visit the various booths around taking in the eclipse. It was a great trip to New York and we thank the RRLC for having us!

Now, we fully turn our attention to helping teachers head back to school more prepared to innovate than ever. And, hey, we've got a way to help with that, too. Check out our Back to School sale with significantly reduced prices on six of our very best EdTech products, including the Dash Robot, Ozobot Evo, MakerBot Mini, Cubetto, and more. Enjoy what's left of your summer!
