It's not every day we get to travel across the country. And, it's certainly not every day that we take part in such an incredible event in an amazing city! That was last week, though. We exhibited at ISTE 2017—our first ISTE Conference—and truly took the Eduporium name and mission nationwide! It was an amazing experience showcasing our products and services on the same floor as giants, like Google, Microsoft, Scholastic, and more—and one we are extremely grateful to have had!
ISTE 2017 took place in San Antonio, Texas from June 25-28. It featured over 500 education, technology, and STEM companies exhibiting in the outrageously enormous and beautiful Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Teachers from around the world attended the show and apparently totaled over 21,000 when all was said and done! In three days, we met with hundreds of educators and learned as much from them as they did from us!
Somehow, we squeezed a ton of events into our four days in Texas, including a welcome party with our fellow NE ISTE members, an appearance at EdSurge's riverside gathering, and, of course, EdTech Karaoke. We were also thankful to host workshops at our booth with our partners from SAM Labs and Let's Start Coding. The freebies we gave out totaled well over $2,000 and the line for our Oculus Rift demos was always expanding! ISTE 2017 was exhausting but we'll reflect on it as we grow and provide educators with enhanced EdTech offerings!
Yes, we had the ISTE 2017 booth with all the free stuff, but we would not have had the ISTE experience we had without the enthusiasm, support, and excitement you brought to Booth 1763! We know it was tiring and thank everyone for visiting us, learning about Eduporium, and teaching us about you! THANK YOU for making our first ISTE experience incredibly special!
Just a reminder of what we do—because we know there was A LOT to digest!
