    Andy made his final school visit and Merge Cube donation on Thursday as he left New York City and headed back to his home in southern Rhode Island. The donation was just outside New York City at the Amani Public Charter School in Mt. Vernon, NY, where he met with one of the school’s administrators, Harvey Zuckerman.

    Andy made stop No. 7 on Monday, visiting Yanaka Bernal at the Newark Charter School in Newark, Delaware. He presented her with the seventh of 10 Merge Cube donations and got a quick tour of the school. Yanaka and some of her colleagues have some pretty cool technologies to use with their students, including her own set of Merge Cubes!

    Last Thursday, we made our sixth school visit in a series of 10 while one of our team members is on a road trip around the country. So far, we’d visited schools in Vermont, Illinois, two in California, and another in Alabama. This sixth visit occurred at the Socrates Academy Charter School in the town of Matthews, NC as he made his way from Myrtle Beach to Charlotte.

    Andy is dropping cubes off to 10 educators all across the country and has already made the first handful of initial stops, visiting schools in Burlington, VT, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Yesterday, he finished made the fifth drop-off and visited Jennifer Fischer, who teaches STEAM at the Mary B. Austin Elementary School in Mobile, Alabama!

    Our Merge Cube donation tour continued at the beginning of this week as Eduporium’s Andy made the fourth stop on his road trip. After driving down the entire coast of California, he made it to San Diego on Sunday night. Rumor has it Andy left the world-famous San Diego dog beach, where his dog was having a blast rolling in the sand and in the water.

    Andy is traveling the country on a 74-day road trip, so he brought along some EdTech donations to gift to some teachers thanks to our friends at Merge VR. The latest educator to receive one was Jennifer Nishimoto, a tech coach at the Santa Monica school, which is located just steps from the famous Santa Monica Boulevard.

    We had the chance to deliver our second new Merge Cube in this series of 10 school visits yesterday in the great state of Illinois. For anyone who may not yet have read about this cool initiative, our social media and marketing professional is on an 11-week US road trip. At stop No. 2, we were glad to donate one to Kumar Kayastha at the Westchester Primary School!

    Traveling All Around The Country And Donating EdTech

    On Monday, I am beginning a 74-day road trip that will take me all through some of the most amazing places in the United States and also enable me to visit some of the hardworking teachers who are working to mold today’s students. Though the idea for a road trip didn’t initially involve teachers (or really even Eduporium), I’m extremely excited with how it evolved.
