Though we’re months away from the biggest EdTech conference on the schedule, we’re still thinking about the 2020 ISTE Conference! That’s because we've submitted a session proposal as part of ISTE’s People’s Choice process. Every year, they open up extra session proposals to anyone who was not selected during the original presentation submission windows. The catch is that only those with the most votes receive an invite to present, so we need your help!

The title of the presentation will be “Combining SEL, STEAM and MakerEd tech tools to expand student learning capacity.” If chosen, we’ll be discussing key commonalities that STEAM and SEL have as well as how MakerEd tools help create classroom experiences that'll combine each. Specifically, MakerEd tools can help educators connect students' heads, hearts, and hands through authentic, hands-on projects they actually care about. So, if this is an important topic to you or something you have been meaning to learn a bit more about, we encourage you to vote for our submission by clicking on the link, creating or signing in to your ISTE account, and casting the vote. Thank you! You can also then vote for us in the FedEx Small Business Grant contest.
