Known simply as the UKIT, there are three versions currently on our store: the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced kits. The basis of each of these UBTECH robotics kits, including the Beginner Kit, is that students use the pieces, which include wheels, servo motors, connecting cables, and other plastic hardware, to build programmable models using interactive guides.
Equipping students with the job skills for the future is a challenge because we don’t necessarily know what life in the future workforce will be like. We can make an educated guess though and, with added assistance from our partners at UBTECH Education, we’re exploring some of the most relevant skills and how UBTECH’s STEM products can help students acquire them.
Each of the UBTECH Education robotics kits—Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced—are very engaging for students, offering opportunities for hands-on engineering, coding, and problem-solving using the unique components and sensors. This week, we’re breaking down each of the kits, including what comes in the packages, the curriculum, and more.
Each of the kits comes with its own compatible set of curriculum. Following detailed project guides displayed in 3D on the UKIT app, students can explore STEM topics in a very hands-on way. Plus, in the lessons, educators can cover everything from force and motion to earth science and natural disasters with hands-on building and collaboration.
