So long as they don't all happen in the same week, we love events that get us out into the community to share our mission for bolstering innovative education! In February, we were lucky enough to do just that by attending an awesome local event in Boston and running an in-depth makerspace workshop at an area university!

We began the month with a table and a constant crowd on Feb. 2 and 3 at Learn Launch's annual Across Boundaries Conference at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. A local organization, Learn Launch is dedicated to expanding Boston's EdTech ecosystem by connecting educators with innovative products and companies (like us)! At the two-day conference, we were able to do the same.

We brought some of our best tech toys, including the Ozobot Robots, the Makey Makey, and the Sphero SPRK+ and helped teach educators about how they can use innovative technology to cement success in their classrooms and launch long-term benefits for their students. The crowd was phenomenal and the panelists inspirational, making our annual trip to Boston's Back Bay very much worth it!

Then, on Feb. 23, we packed up our products and headed to Salem State University to host a workshop for local educators, illustrating how they can use our products in K-12 and higher education. We brought our best, including the NAO Robot, Samsung Gear VR Goggles, Syma QuadCopter Drone, and our new MOD-t 3D printer to display in their Center for Teaching Innovation.

Our two-part afternoon featured Eduporium co-founder, Irina Tuule, sharing her Perspectives on EdTech and Makerspaces followed by group sessions during which attendees got to play with the products and see firsthand how they can enhance education.

March looks to be even busier for us as we'll continue with some 21st century education conferences across the Northeast. Keep up with what we'll be doing in the coming months by visiting our Events page! And, if you'd like us to host a workshop at your school, library, or makerspace or know of any exciting education conferences coming up, let us know—chances are we'd love to attend!
