Let’s blend art and light technology with Circuit Stickers! Circuit stickers are LED circuits in the form of peel-and-stick stickers. They enable students to build real circuits without soldering, plugging wires, or clips. Instead, students use the stickers and conductive tapes to draw their circuits on paper, adding an intriguing element to their crafts. This peel-and-stick introduction to electronics encourages kids to get creative and shows them there's more to art than they're used to! Circuit Stickers are ideal for teaching beginner electronics and introducing basic circuitry concepts very early on in the education process.

I used the STEM Starter Kit, which came with LED stickers, a roll of copper tape, batteries, binder clips, a sketchbook and a whole bunch more accessories. I found the sketchbook to be very handy and intuitive. It is small, simple and interactive and even provides space for circuit creation on some pages. The easy-to-follow instructions walked me through five circuit concepts including parallel circuits, switches and resistance-based sensors. Each concept came with a circuit theory lesson, a template with a drawing activity and an open-ended project so I could create my own circuitry design!

First, using the informative sketchbook, I built a simple circuit. I laid down the copper tape, stuck on the LED and added the battery and binder clip to complete my circuit and light the LED. Once I was successful with the simple circuit, I moved on to more complex circuits with my newfound confidence for circuit building! Throughout this fun experiment, I was able to refresh my circuitry knowledge and embrace my creative side. Although I resorted to using templates, the possibilities for students are as vast as their imagination. They could light up hand-made cards, sculptures, posters and many more DIY projects, using Circuit stickers to truly inspire independent design and empower their creativity.

With Circuit Stickers, students will learn to build circuits while making interactive artwork—a match made in STEAM heaven. Electronic stickers engage students in hands-on learning by encouraging them to interactively construct and identify functioning circuits. Have your children and students transforming their original designs into real, functioning circuits in no time! Visit the Eduporium store to purchase a Circuit Stickers kit!
