Teaching coding and robotics in elementary school just got a great boost! With more convenient and robust Wonder Workshop bundles, STEM educators can teach programming more easily than ever! All six new options are now on our store and include as many as 24 Dash Robots to help energize experiential learning this school year! The bundles also include engaging Wonder Workshop accessories, like launchers, Gripper Building Kits, Sketch Kits, building brick connectors, and more! Keep reading to learn more about all of the bundle options that educators can use to introduce elementary students to the Dash and Dot!

While Wonder Workshop recently revamped all of their bundle offerings, there are six key options that we’d recommend for elementary educators. They come packed with various amounts of robots and accessories and work best in classrooms in which students would have access to mobile devices. The Dash and Dot are compatible with Apple, Android, Kindle, and Chromebook devices. For a more detailed breakdown of specific device compatibility, reference this guide. Even if you don’t have a device for every student in the class, that’s okay because the new bundles come in a variety of sizes, making it easier for educators to find what they need!

K-5 School Pack

As its name suggests, the new Wonder Workshop K-5 School Pack is a solution designed to outfit an entire K-5 school with the Dash and Dot Robots for teaching coding. It comes with a variety of materials—most importantly, 24 Dash Robots and two Dot Robots. Of course, in a 1-to-1 environment, this would allow 24 students to work with the Dash, but, in a collaborative learning environment, as many as 72 students could work together with the components in the School Pack! Besides the robots, the K-5 School Pack also includes 12 launcher accessories for the Dash, six xylophones, 12 Gripper Building Kits, 12 building brick connector sets, 12 Accessory Packs, six Learn to Code Challenge Card Sets, two Learn to Code Curriculum Guides, 12 Sketch Kits, three Sketch Packs, and 12 Marker Refill Kits!

K-5 Tech Center Pack

A bit smaller in size, the K-5 Tech Center Pack is designed to serve 30-36 students and provide them with productive STEM learning experiences. Perfect for stocking a media lab, makerspace, or library environment as well, the Tech Center Pack comes with the same components as the School Pack—just in smaller quantities. It comes with 12 Dash Robots, two Dot Robots, three launchers for the Dash, three xylophones, three Gripper Building Kits, three building brick connector sets, three Accessory Packs, three Learn to Code Challenge Card Sets, one Learn to Code Curriculum Guide, five Sketch Kits, one Sketch Pack, and six Marker Refill Kits.

K-5 Classroom Pack

The K-5 Classroom Pack can help educators provide a structured learning environment within their classroom. It’s ideal for classes with up to 24 students and comes with six Dash Robots and two Dot robots, allowing for a 3-to-1 student-to-robot-ratio. Again, the accessories are the same—they just differ slightly in quantity from the first two bundles. This kit comes with three launchers, three xylophones, three grippers, three brick connector sets, three challenge card sets, one curriculum guide, two Sketch Kits, one Sketch Pack, and three Marker Refill Kits.

Dash STEAM Pack

This new bundle is a bit more focused and a bit smaller in size for any educators who are only looking to add a few more components to their classroom. Rather than pairing the Dash with the Dot, the Dash STEAM Pack features standalone Dash Robots, which are still fantastic for introducing elementary kids to coding! Students can use the Dash and any of the compatible coding apps to learn all of the basics of programming on their own or in groups. Included in this bundle are three Dash Robots, two brick connector sets, two Gripper Kits, a Sketch Kit, a Sketch Pack, and a Marker Refill Kit.

Dash Maker Pack

The Dash Maker Pack was created along the same lines as the STEAM Pack and features some slightly different quantities for its components. Fitted with two Dash Robots, two Building Brick Connector sets, two Gripper Building Kits, two Accessory Packs, one Sketch Kit, one Sketch Pack, and one Marker Refill Kit, it’s perfect for teaching in a small-sized classroom or—even better—an afterschool robotics club. This bundle supports between 6-14 students and can truly help create a vibrant STEM culture in the classroom while also helping support students as they develop a maker mindset!

K-5 Accessory Pack

A big part of any learning with the Dash and Dot (and the Cue too!) are the accessories that students can use. We’ve mentioned them throughout this post, including the brick connectors, launchers, and gripper, and, if that’s all you need, you can now also get them as part of a bundle of their own. The K-5 Accessory Pack includes Wonder Workshop’s best elementary school accessories, like the launcher, brick connector sets, gripper, the Accessories Pack, a xylophone, a Sketch Pack, and one Marker Refill Kit. The K-5 Accessory Pack pairs nicely with any of the new classroom bundles, helping provide plenty of fun and purposeful learning for students when using the Dash and Dot in the classroom!
