As the school year heats up, we're teaming up with some of our partners to host a revamped webinar series. Last year, we hosted some fantastic conversations in conjunction with some of our partners. We're excited to come back this fall with some new content and fresh focuses! Since so much has been made about it, one focus area will be on intentional social-emotional learning at the start of the school year. To kick things off, we'll be partnering with our friends from Strawbees Education. In this first broadcast, we'll be discussing how their product line helps advance both hands-on and SEL opportunities in any type of educational environment and we hope to have a huge crowd!

This first webinar is taking place on Wednesday Sept. 15 at 3:30 PM ET. It will be led by Andreas Hoel, who heads up sales accounts in the US and Europe for Strawbees. Like we said, we'll be focusing on creating opportunities for integrating SEL in the classroom this school year. Since SEL (understandably) is very closely tied to students experiencing new emotions and communicating their thoughts, its connection to hands-on, exploration-based learning continues to grow. For any educators or administrators interested in discovering new ways to help students boost social-emotional competencies through making, discovery, and collaboration, we definitely invite you to attend. We think you'll truly benefit from learning more about how the Strawbees solutions can help.

As their offerings continue to evolve with new updates and releases, the Strawbees line has grown into a widely trusted STEAM solution. They're viable throughout the elementary grades, helping students build basic engineering and design thinking skills. And, they also provide in-depth opportunities for makerspace exploration or cross-curricular experiences. Besides addressing how the Strawbees kits and curricular materials help advance SEL, Andreas will be speaking on some other benefits of using Strawbees kits in the classroom as well. He'll also be leading a demonstration of the brand-new Strawbees Learning platform for attendees. Using this platform, educators can find relevant Strawbees lesson plans, project guides, and additional content for leading meaningful learning.

We're, of course, very excited to start the new school year and to collaborate with our partners from Strawbees Education. We look forward to seeing everyone in the audience and facilitating a lively discussion on STEAM and SEL next week. To reserve your spot in the webinar, be sure to register. Also, we will be making the webinar recording available shortly following the broadcast. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram and check out the rest of our Strawbees content.
