Every week of the past month, we’ve been appearing at events, presenting at others, and I think we even attended one or two as guests. Now that the craziness of October is over, we can relax a little bit in November. No, wait. That’s not true. November is going to be just as crazy. Oh well, here’s a list of all the places where you can find us!
If you’ve been following along and following our social media, you certainly know how busy we’ve been in October. That trend continued last week as we headed to upstate New York and spent some time with our good friends from the Syracuse area, attending two separate events on Wednesday and Thursday.
With part of our founding team hailing from Russia, we jumped at the opportunity to present at the two-day conference and introduce some new technologies to our friends across the ocean. After that, some of us made the somewhat shorter trip to the Bronx, NY to host ‘The State of EdTech in 2017’ in collaboration with Manhattan College.
It’s not every day we get to travel across the country. And, it’s certainly not every day that we get to take part in such an incredible event in an amazing city! That’s how we spent last week, though, exhibiting at our first ISTE conference and truly taking the Eduporium name and mission nationwide, which was an amazing experience.
We attended our first national ISTE conference last week and learned a lot along the way. Like just how many attendees were actually walking among the huge crowd, for instance. The size and scope of this EdTech event are both incredible and it’s really impossible to quantify how far our message has reached, but there are some other findings we can put into numbers.
If you’re so inclined to come visit us during our three days at the ISTE Conference, we would certainly welcome everyone, especially teachers, librarians, administrators, and makerspace leaders! If you need some more convincing, here are some extra incentives for you to drop by our interactive booth!
If you follow us closely, you know March was a super busy month for us. Well, we’re happy to say that April looks to be just about full as well! We regularly get questions about where people can find us, so we thought we’d give you a few options for this month and publicize some of the cool upcoming events we’re taking part in at the same time.
Besides hosting our own virtual workshop and participating in one regional webinar, we made our way to a handful of amazing conferences all around the Northeast. And, everywhere we went, the enthusiasm we were all met with made all the hard work worth it. Let’s recap it, shall we? Head inside for all the details on these amazing events and sessions.
We began the month with a table and a constant crowd on Feb. 2 and 3 at Learn Launch’s annual Across Boundaries Conference held at the amazing Hynes Convention Center in Boston. A local organization, Learn Launch is dedicated to expanding Boston’s EdTech ecosystem by connecting many of today’s educators with innovative products and companies (like us)!
From August 2-5 2016, Eduporium participated in the Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES Making Learning Happen PBL NY event up in Syracuse. We were invited to the event to appear as an educational partner after we spent much of the last couple of months working to create, procure and customize EdTech bundles for PK-12 students in these districts.
